Who knew that forever would be the result of a right swipe? Maya and Ryan met on Tinder in 2018 with a walk in the park as their first date, bonding over working out and traveling. In 2020, Maya seized the opportunity to travel as a nurse and the two remained in touch throughout her career. The flame was reignited in 2021, while Maya was completing a contract in Baltimore. Knowing Maya’s then favorite fast food joint was Chick-fil-A, Ryan sent Maya a frozen lemonade coupon for Chick-fil-A that would change the dynamic of their relationship forever. As the relationship continued to grow, they both would drive across cross-state lines to close the distance between them. In January of 2023, Ryan proposed to Maya while on a cruise to the Bahamas. Once they returned, the couple relocated to Raleigh, where Maya accepted a new position to advance in her profession. In March of 2023, they found out they were expecting and two, became three in their new house in November of 2023 when they welcomed their son. The Peterson family now spends quality time exploring their new area. They say if you let something go and it comes back, it's meant to be,

If you are able to RSVP when you receive your invitation - that is great and extremely helpful! To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the first and last name(s) listed on your invitation. We ask that you kindly reply before
Saturday, June 1, 2024. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as "no" and you will be missed! We hope you understand!
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Unfortunately, due to space limitations, plus ones cannot be accommodated at this time.
Therefore, we ask that our guests please do not bring a plus one unless they are specifically listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Although we absolutely love kids, please note that our wedding will be an adults-only affair.
We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE
TO THE CEREMONY?
The doors will open at 3:30 pm for guests to start being seated. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes before that start
time. This will give us enough time to be right on schedule. If you arrive after the stated time, you will be asked to wait until the ceremony is finished and then join us at the reception!
